Faulty Gpu Temperature Sensor
Faulty Gpu Temperature Sensor. If the fans do ramp up as the system gets warmer and the temp of the gpu does not go red line then the gpu chip it's self has a problem. The engine oil temperature (eot) sensor or the thermometric oil temperature sensor is the sensor, which is used by the electronic control unit of the car to get the readings of the temperature of the car’s engine oil and sends the reading to the car ecu.
Any other temp reading you're getting is originating from the mobo diodes. The problem then (on the windows side of things) is either something to do with windows or the temp. 87°c gpu temperature will probably feel very warm to hot at the hottest spot on the case.
It Could Be A Cold Solder Joint Or A Defective Chip.
Most vehicles will have some sort of display somewhere on the interior of the vehicle that indicates the outside temperature of the vehicle, usually read by the ambient temperature sensor. Other than swapping out the logic board there is not much one can do here with a bga chip setup with out the proper gear. I suspect that this fault is in the electronics and there is nothing to do except buying a new one.
When The Card Sensor Freezes, Both Report A Constant 20º Temperature Reading.
This is not a £2000/$3500 laptop. If your mbp can handle this sustained load without shutting down the heat transfer from the cpu is correct. Check for local heat sources affecting your readings.
The Problem Then (On The Windows Side Of Things) Is Either Something To Do With Windows Or The Temp.
I took my computer to pc club, and a technician there said that the problem could have been caused by the back of the motherboard touching the back of the case, but after replacing the mobo, i don't think this is. My question is whether or not the possibility of an inaccurate temperature reading exists, and if so, are there any workarounds without buying new gear. Check setup of your temperature controller/readout.
Faulty Temp Sensor, Sending Back For Refund.
Keeping the temperature of the gpu in that sweet spot is a necessity when overclocking it. Resolve sensor break/open circuit errors. 87°c gpu temperature will probably feel very warm to hot at the hottest spot on the case.
I Have Reason To Believe My Gpu Has A Faulty Temp Sensor Or The Whole Thing Is Faulty.
